SOLEMS history : the milestones

1981	Solems was founded by Ionel Solomon, research director in Ecole Polytechnique (Palaiseau), now member of the french Science Academy
1986	PLASMA BOX patent for amorphous silicon coatings
1988-1993	Germano-french joint venture PHOTOTRONICS
1993	A gropup of SOLEMS employees buys out the partnership to develop customer specific solar energy and light detection
2003	A cash flow of 1 Meuros is reached
2005	Start of ATOS project, wxith LPICM in Ecole Polytechnique, TOTAL, Saint Gobain and a few other labs, for the scale-up of polymorphous silicon
2010 target	Implementation of the new generation PECVD reactor for the production of the first polymorphous silicon solar cells
