Solar sensors for meteo stations <\/strong><\/p>\n

\"Solarimetre\"<\/p>\n

Register climatic parameters in order to plan actions in a farm is the main function of these small weather stations for agriculture. Most of the time they are associated to automatisms controlling ventilation, heating, lighting… etc., in greenhouses or water supply in the fields, as a fonction of climatic parameters.<\/p>\n

For example, in a greenhouse, when the outside solar radiation exceeds a set-up value, for sure the temperature will shortly increase inside, so some curtains are closed or other ventilation mechanisms started to avoid overheating.<\/p>\n

SOLEMS supplies the solar radiation sensors for these stations.<\/p>\n

PAR sensors : photosynthesis studies<\/strong><\/p>\n

\"PLANTE2\"<\/p>\n

PAR sensors are widely used in agronomy research. These white housings contain a solar cell sensitive to the same light spectrum as the plants.<\/p>\n

They can quantify the amount of “usefull” light recieved, transmitted and reflected by the canopy.<\/p>\n

These measurements have many applications, either in fundamental or applied research. A radiative balance identifies how much light a plant is using for its growth. It ios also interesting to evaluate how much light is available under a tree cover, in order to decide which vegetable can be planted underneath.<\/p>\n
