SOLEMS is not supplying such systems for grid connection up to now but you will find here some useful information.

Benefits

  • The entire electricity produced during the year is collected; since the storage is “inifinite”
  • If the utility company buys your production and if you can get subsidies or interesting loans (depending the country, the state, the region) you can reach an interesting return on investment

Draw-backs

  • Such systems produce electricity according to the amount of sunlight that falls on their surface, so unshaded, preferably south-facing, surfaces are required.
  • In countries where the sunlight is low (northern Europe for instance) the return on investment is more difficult to reach.
  • In France, the solar modules have to be “integrated” to get the high feed-in tariff : 0.60c€/kWh
